Giant Panda (Ailuropoda Melanoleuca)
Ah Ha - Hello from the world's most iconic animal. I know it sounds rather grand, but it's true, more people recognise me than any other species because I have such a great image.
I'm the super model of the animal kingdom; I am a natural poser and am particularly good at it in the bamboo forests of China. Here, it is so easy for me to relax; I bask in the forests and I don't have to reach out too far to find a tasty, tender bamboo shoot which I can chew at my leisure.
Because I'm so cool, everyone likes me and it's easy for me to use my image to highlight the plight of all endangered species. Together we know that our beautiful environment is being destroyed and the distress makes breeding all the more difficult.
I have been told that my fabulous bamboo forests are being ruined by humans who, unlike me, are in a terrible hurry. I guess if you always move very fast, you get over heated and need more space to cool down in, but I prefer to take it slowly and stay cool always.
So what can you do to join in protecting me and my habitat? Well I think you would look pretty cool too in this T-shirt with my image on, and what is more it's made from organic and Fairtrade certified cotton - that's also pretty cool.
